Fraserburgh Harbour is situated in the North East corner of Scotland and has great potential for commercial and oil related traffic due to its close proximity to Scandinavia and the Baltic States.
All berths can be available for commercial vessels or oil related traffic and each of the North Pier and Provost Parks Jetty have oil pipelines to a fuel storage tank. These berths can be used for discharging oil to the storage tank or for bunkering vessels. Maximum size of vessel afloat at all times is 95m x 16m and 6.5m draught. Fraserburgh has local stevedores offering a 24 hour service equipped with modern cargo handling equipment, mobile cranes with a lifting capacity of up to 200 tonnes, fork lifts and conveyors etc. All types of cargo are handled from bulk, fuel, general, containers and fish products. Lifts in excess of 200 tonnes and 37.5 metres in length can be accommodated. A 60 tonnes capacity weighbridge is also available adjacent to the Harbour Office.
