FRASERBURGH HARBOUR COMMISSIONERS are responsible for the administration and maintenance of the Port and consists of twelve board members.
We are seeking applications to fill four vacancies on the board from candidates with a keen interest in the activities and business of the Port. Applicants will be required to demonstrate ability and a proven track record in their chosen profession or other activities and, to complement the existing range of expertise on the Board, should ideally have professional or personal experience in one or more of the following areas:- management of harbours; shipping or other forms of transport; fishing industry; sailing and other water-related leisure activities; navigation; industrial, commercial or financial matters; administration; the law relating to Scotland; safety; personnel management; environmental matters affecting harbours; any other skills and matters considered relevant from time to time by the Commissioners to the discharge by them of their functions.
